Ethical Business Behaviours

Refinement of our corporate governance and employment policies, and procedures and practices to promote an environment that supports our employees in the workplace. We are committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunities, Fair Employment, and safe environment to our current and future employees.

We are also committed to empowering and uplifting our employees through:

• Working towards the betterment of the physical and mental well-being of our employees
• Encouraging and providing opportunity for personal and career growth

We are doing this by improving our workplaces and IT systems to support the comfort, well-being, and productivity of our staff.

Green Initiatives

Given the global conversation on green initiatives, Acumentis is dedicated to developing and improving on our Green Plan. This plan sees us:

• Reducing our carbon footprint for our offices and business related travel
• Reducing our usage of energy and creation of waste
• Reducing our use of paper 
• Achieving NABERS Ratings for our offices

Economic Responsibility

Our supply chain is primarily comprised of insurance, travel, office accommodation, electricity, copying and office supplies providers. When procuring products and services at the office or company levels Acumentis will preference those with a demonstrated commitment and track record of performance with regards to:

• Minimising the environmental footprint of their operations, products and services
• Operating ethically and upholding human rights
• Maintaining a high level of performance with health and safety

Social Responsibility

Acumentis believes in supporting the communities we work in and live in. As a part of our commitment to social responsibility, we created a Community Plan that supports our local communities through corporate giving, and employing giving and volunteering.

To meet these goals, we have put together a plan to implment changes.

Implementation:

1. Continue to work towards creating a fairer, attractive workplace to our current and future employees that supports them in their personal and career growth
2. Continue working towards a greener Acumentis by committing to reducing our carbon footprint and waste
3. We will continue to work to ensure our supply chain engages in behaviours that are green, ethical, and promote safe workplaces
4. Work to increase the support we offer to local communities both through corporate giving, and employing giving and volunteering
