The rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is having significant global impact and Acumentis is committed to playing our part to help stop the spread.
At Acumentis we take the health and wellbeing of our people, clients and the wide community very seriously.
We are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and have implemented best practice health and safety precautions that follow Australian Government COVID-19 guidelines to minimise the risk of infection and the impact on our team and delivery of services to our clients.
We continue to work closely with our industry body, clients and key stakeholders to provide essential support to the financial services sector through this event. Our full services continue adhering to newly implemented health and safety precautions.
We have a team of senior leaders meeting daily to discuss our ongoing response and make decisions based on the latest official advice, and we are modifying our approach as required.
Acumentis is utilising the scale and spread of our national network during this time with resources across Australia available to fully support our clients. We have moved to a remote working business model with all of our people working from home.
Our very significant investment in technology enables our people to work effectively and securely wherever they need to be based. They have full access to all programs, emails and files so they can easily work from remote locations (many of our staff routinely work remotely and do not regularly attend our offices), and our phone system ensures staff can be contacted anywhere.
Physical inspections are being undertaken in line with Government instructions and rigorous safety precautions. During inspections social distancing, and appropriate hygiene measures are being implemented and occupants are assisting in minimising any surface contact by opening dwelling doors and turning on lighting where appropriate.
If a physical inspection cannot be undertaken due to COVID-19 risk we are undertaking virtual inspections using innovative technology and providing clients with high quality valuations that meet regulatory standards and provide decision certainty.
We would like to assure our clients that we are able to continue to support and maintain service levels during this period of uncertainty. Our people will be available through the normal communication channels and will keep you informed of any changes to the capacity within our teams.
Minimising Community Transfer
We have implemented best practice new company policies specific to our daily practice with particular precautions in relation to valuers inspecting properties and we are working closely with property owners, managers and tenants to conduct inspections in a strictly safe and compliant manner that is agreeable to all related parties.
We have suspended all international and national travel until further notice and all meetings, events and gatherings are being undertaken using conferencing technology whilst our team are working remotely.
If you have any questions about how we continue to manage our operations to deal with the ongoing impact of COVID-19 please do not hesitate to get in touch with your usual Acumentis contact or a member of our leadership team.
